Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Completely edentulous for at least 1 year
  • Patients requesting new maxillary and mandibular complete dentures
  • Mental receptiveness
  • Good understanding of spoken Portuguese

Exclusion

  • Debilitating systemic diseases
  • Pathologic changes of residual edentulous ridges
  • Dysfunctional disorders of the masticatory system
