Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • pregnancy between 24 and 31.6 weeks
  • singleton fetus
  • threatened preterm birth.

Exclusion

  • Fetuses: congenital anomalies
  • Mothers: severe or multiple maternal illnesses
  • Drug users or institutionalized or psychotic women
