Blood for measuring platelet function is drawn before induction of anesthesia

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • First time on-pump CABG with or without valve replacement

Exclusion

  • Redo surgery,
  • Renal insufficiency needing dialysis,
  • Concomitant medication with warfarin,
  • Preoperative fibrinogen \< 150 mg%
