Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Colectomy for histologically proven colorectal adenocarcinoma

Exclusion

  • Pregnancy,
  • hereditary cancer,
  • history of inflammatory bowel disease,
  • metastatic disease at presentation,
  • emergency operation,
  • major postoperative complications
