Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- ICU patient equipped with arterial line
- NIV requirement
- Hypercapnia: PaCO2 \> 45mmhg
Exclusion
- Severe hemodynamic instability
- Severe psychiatric disorders
- nasal lesions
- denied consent
