Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Adult (\> 18 yrs)
- Requires tracheostomy
Exclusion
- Failure to provide consent
- Known upper airway pathologies
- Known oro-pharyngeal or laryngeal disease, including any swelling, tumour, or infection
- Previous radiotherapy or operations on the neck
- Cervical spine fractures.
