Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- clinical decision to perform minilaparoscopic guided liver biopsy for the staging of liver disease including the assessment of the degree of fibrosis.
Exclusion
- ascites
- decompensated liver disease
- esophageal varices
- other collateral circulations
- obstructive cholestasis
- severe heart insufficiency (NYHA III-IV)
