Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Patients undergoing an elective surgery by thoracoscopy requiring antithrombotic prophylaxis
- Anticipated duration of hospital stay of at least 3 days
Exclusion
- Pre-existing coagulopathy
- Severe renal failure
- Known allergy to heparin
- History of heparin induced thrombocytopenia
