Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Age 18-80
- Require a central line inserted in the left jugular vein
- Undergoing surgery
Exclusion
- Contraindication to left jugular vein insertion (absent vein, infection at site)
- Permanent or temporary pacemaker
- Emergency surgery
