Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Patient older than 18 years old
- Patient undergoing planned heart surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass
Exclusion
- Pregnancy,
- progressive solid cancer,
- HIV infection,
- history of blood or inflammatory disease,
- long-term immunosuppressive treatment,
- urgent surgical intervention,
- documented preoperative infection
