Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Suspected malignant disease of the pancreas scheduled for distal pancreatectomy
  • Patient eligible for laparoscopic resection
  • ≥ 18 years of age
  • Written informed consent

Exclusion

  • Planned multi-visceral and/or vascular resection
  • Evidence of distant metastases
  • Expected lack of compliance
