Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD)
  • macula off
  • treated by successful scleral buckle surgery
  • recent onset with symptom within 1 month

Exclusion

  • with failed previous surgery
  • intraoperative or postoperative injection of long-acting gas
  • with other eye diseases than RRD
