Inclusion

  • children who answer the pediatric ROME III criteria for IBS

Exclusion

  • Other diagnosis (e.g. inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease).
  • Patient receiving chronic medical therapy.
  • Patient already on a restrictive diet (e.g. gluten-free, lactose-free)
