Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Male
  • Achilles tendon rupture

Exclusion

  • arterial insufficiency
  • diabetes
  • autoimmune disease
  • patients who used systemic antibiotics or steroids or showed any other clinical contraindication to perform maximum voluntary contractions on a dynamometer.
