- healthy volunteers
- active athletes
- lean sedentary subjects
Exclusion
- drugs that could affect the endothelium
- overweight
- hypertension
- coronary artery disease
- diabetes
- hyperlipidaemia
- renal impairment
- cerebrovascular and peripheral artery disease
