Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • RLQ pain with clinical suspicion for acute appendicitis

Exclusion

  • History of appendectomy
  • Imaging prior to ED ultrasound performed to evaluate the RLQ
  • Patients who are decisionally impaired or cannot provide consent
