Inclusion
- The same as acceptance criteria for bariatric surgery according to the 1991 NIH Consensus Statement
Exclusion
- retrocolic gastric bypass procedure
- previous bariatric procedures
- primary open procedures
- missing data on handling of the mesenteric defects
