Inclusion
- patients with extrahepatic cholestasis
Exclusion
- age under 14 years
- previous bilio-pancreatic interventions
- hemoglobinopathy
- splenomegaly
- myeloproliferative disorders
- diabetes mellitus
- recent blood transfusion in less than one month
