Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Gestational age 37 weeks or more
  • Singleton gestation.
  • Uncomplicated pregnancy.
  • Vertex presentation.

Exclusion

  • Epidural analgesia request.
  • Operative delivery.
  • No other methods are used for pain control 2hours befor episiotomy
  • Previous adverse reaction to local anesthetic.
