Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- All patients undergoing scheduled or emergency visceral surgery and admitted to an ICU following the intervention.
Exclusion
- Chest surgery
- ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) 4 or more
- Refusal of the patient
- Pregnant women
- Spontaneously-breathing patients
