Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Over the age of 18 years
  • Primary, unilateral total knee arthroplasty

Exclusion

  • History of alcoholism
  • Inability to speak or read English (questionnaires are only provided in English)
  • Pregnant women and women with plans to begin a family
  • Inflammatory arthritis -Bilateral total knee arthroplasty
  • Revision total knee arthroplasty
