Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Men and women, age 18 years or older
- Scheduled elective abdominoplasty at the Dpt. of Plastic Surgery, Medical University of Graz
- Signed informed consent form
Exclusion
- Allergy to Teflon or steel
- Known skin diseases (atopic dermatitis, psoriasis)
- History of immunodeficiency diseases
- Patients on glucocorticoid or other immunomodulating therapy
- History of bleeding disorder
- Pregnancy or planned pregnancy
- Unable to fully understand study procedures and to provide informed consent
