Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- acute ischemic stroke within 24 hours after symptom onset
- first ever stroke
- give informed consent
Exclusion
- receiving thrombolysis
- cardiogenic embolism
- contradiction to serial MRI studies
- taking hemostatic agents (warfarin, oral anticoagulants and etc. )
