Inclusion
- osteoarthritis of the knee
- pain intensity \> 3 on the numerical rating scale (0-10)
Exclusion
- knee arthroplasty
- gravity
- dermal Irritation at the skin of the knee
- carcinoma
- known osteoarthritis grade 4 (Kellgren and Lawrence score)
