Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- age ≥70
- hospital admission for valvular disorders (severe aortic stenosis or severe mitral regurgitation) requiring surgical or percutaneous intervention
Exclusion
- SPMSQ value ≤4
- inability to stay upright
- life expectancy \<3 months
