Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Children aged between 6 months and 6 years presenting at the pediatric emergency department
- Indication for midazolam as sedation
- Signed informed consent
Exclusion
- Contraindication for midazolam
- Contraindication for dexmedetomidine
- Contraindication for moderate sedation in general
