Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Mechanical ventilation more than 48 hours.
- Included during the first 24 hours of mechanical ventilation.
Exclusion
- Less than 18 years old
- Pregnant patients
- Do-not-resuscitate orders
- Admitted for organ donation
- Chest tubes with suspected bronchopleural fistula.
