Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Trauma patients in hemorrhagic shock
- Expected delay in blood and blood products transfusion for more than 40 minutes.
Exclusion
- Known chronic renal disease
- Known chronic liver disease
- Known coagulopathy
- Known allergy to Hydroxyethyl starch
- Known pregnancy
