Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Patients recovering from surgery for hip fracture
  • 65 years of age or older
  • Able to provide informed consent or has a substitute decision maker able to provide consent

Exclusion

  • Bed or wheelchair bound prior to fracture
  • Physical barrier to placement of device (wrist restraints, cast for wrist fracture)
  • Non-operative hip fractures
  • Pathologic hip fracture
