Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Adult end-stage renal disease patients maintained on regular hemodialysis
Exclusion
- Chronic liver disease
- Malignant condition
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- History of bowel resection
- Long term antibiotic therapy
- Pregnancy or lactation
- Current use of immunosuppressive medication
