Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Age \>18 years
- Acute hypoxic respiratory failure (P/F \< 200)
Exclusion
- Acute pulmonary edema
- Chest wall deformities
- Immediate need for Mechanical Ventilation
- Pregnancy
- Hypercapnic RF
