Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Patients without mechanical ventilation for more than 72 hours
- Mucus hypersecretion (defined as the need for suctioning \< 2-h intervals)
Exclusion
- bronchospasm.
- Pleural effusion or pneumothorax undrained.
- Bronchopleural or tracheoesophageal fistula.
- Neuromuscular disease.
