Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Patients hospitalised with an exacerbation of COPD
- FEV1/FVC \<70% or FEV1 \<80%
- Age\>40 years
- smoking history
- Previously prescribed fluticasone/salmeterol inhaler
Exclusion
- No exacerbations in previous year
- Outpatients
