Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • approved written informed consent by parent or legal representative
  • idiopathic adolescent scoliosis
  • planned for elective surgery: posterior spinal fusion

Exclusion

  • other types of scoliosis
  • chronic opioid usage (more than 3 months)
  • known unstable psychiatric medical condition
