Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Patients eligible for ablative surgery for head and neck cancer with primary microvascular reconstruction.
Exclusion
- Patients with conditions leading to increased risk of thromboembolic events
- Patients pre-operatively admitted to the ICU
