Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • primary diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke
  • patients admitted to the MGUH Stroke service
  • 18 years or older

Exclusion

  • Diagnosis of subarachnoid hemorrhage
  • Diagnosis of intracerebral hemorrhage
  • Diagnosis of transient ischemic attack
  • Diagnosis of stroke mimic
  • admitted under observational status
