- Inclusion criteria:
- Cataract group:
- Patients with age-related cataract;
- Indication of phacoemulsification surgery
- Control group:
- • Patients without cataract
- Exclusion criteria:
- • Presence of any other ophthalmological condition or systemic disease that could affect the results
