Inclusion

  • Provide written informed consent (either from the patient or a substitute decision-maker)
  • Indications for surgical treatment (septal myectomy) of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

Exclusion

  • indications for mitral valve replacement
  • Patient failure at any stage of the study
