Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- female undergoing elective gynecologic surgery
Exclusion
- known allergy to lidocaine,
- respiratory or cardiac dysfunction, arrhythmia, treatment with antiarrhythmic drugs,
- inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis)
- hepatic, renal
- chronic use of analgesics or corticosteroids
