Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Scheduled thoracic resection Surgery for lung- or esophagus cancer. For lung cancer patients, at least one lung lobe has to scheduled for resection

Exclusion

  • Known Diaphragmatic Dysfunction
  • Neuromuscular Disease
  • Pleural Effusion \> 1cm
  • Pneumothorax
  • Known Phrenic Nerve Palsy
