Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- \- patients admitted to the ICU for acute-on-chronic liver failure
Exclusion
- pre-existing renal disease
- urine output\<200 mL/day
- death within the first 24 hours after ICU admission
- emergency liver transplantation within the follow-up period (28 days)
