Inclusion
- Adult age (\>18 years)
- Scheduled to undergo elective transcatheter aortic valve implantation with percutaneous access through the femoral artery
- Written Informed consent
Exclusion
- Unable to obtain informed consent
- Vascular access via alternative approach (radial/subclavian) or surgical cutdown
