Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- mild hypercholesterolemia (220 - 280 mg/dl)
- subjects were not taking any medication likely to affect lipid metabolism (such as statins)
- subjects were bergamot poor-responders
Exclusion
- liver, renal and thyroid diseases
- history of cardiovascular disease (CVD)
