Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Adults (age 18-80 years) scheduled for elective abdominal surgery
  • Must be able to tolerate nasal CPAP

Exclusion

  • American Society Anesthesia (ASA) Class 3-4.
  • Cognitive impairment or dementia
