Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • inborn infants admitted to the NICU with;
  • gestational age \< 29 weeks (up to 28+6 weeks) OR
  • birth weight \< 1250g.

Exclusion

  • end of life (palliative) care
  • large abdominal wall defects
  • imperforate anus.
