Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Adults 18 years or older
  • Patients undergoing liver resection.
  • Ability to give informed consent.

Exclusion

  • Pre-existing systemic illness, likely to alter systemic cardiovascular response to hemorrhage. Including congestive heart failure, and a paced cardiac rhythm.
  • Pregnant
  • Prisoner status
