Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • scheduled for bariatric surgery and eligible for sleeve gastrectomy or gastric bypass
  • able to give consent
  • understand written and spoken Norwegian

Exclusion

  • pregnancy and breast-feeding
  • chronic disease (endocrine, heart, neurological, lung, gastrointestinal, kidney)
  • cancer
  • acute psychotic episode
