- elective thoracic surgery
- American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) 1-3 status
- written informed consent
Exclusion
- pregnancy
- adipositas (bmi \> 30)
- cardiac arrhythmia
- coagulation abnormalities
- chronic pain
- opiate abuses
