Inclusion

  • elective thoracic surgery
  • American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) 1-3 status
  • written informed consent

Exclusion

  • pregnancy
  • adipositas (bmi \> 30)
  • cardiac arrhythmia
  • coagulation abnormalities
  • chronic pain
  • opiate abuses
