Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- adults (age greater than 18 yr) with American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status classification I to III scheduled to undergo unilateral arthroscopic shoulder surgery under general anesthesia
Exclusion
- dementia
- chronic opioid consumption
- chronic pain disease
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- history of serious lung disease
