Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Patients with morbid obesity undergoing bariatric metabolic surgery according to the IFSO criteria,
- Willingness to attend all follow-up visits
- Written consent
Exclusion
- other liver disease than NAFLD
- presence of IBD, acute pancreatitis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, pregnancy
